Installation and Uninstall

System Requirements

EZ Document Safe runs on Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, or later.
About 10 MB free disk space for installation, and more for temporary usage.
16-bit color and 800 x 600 display resolution or greater.
Internet Explorer 5.5 or later.

Restrictions on Free Version

Fully functional.
No spy-ware, no backdoors, no ad-ware and no expiry date.
The max size of each database should not exceed 128M.

Installation Procedure

For general version:

Run the setup application (edocsafe_???_setup.exe).

Follow the instructions on the installation wizard.

Once EZ Document Safe has been successfully installed, it may start up automatically. You will need to initialize a new database for the first time use.

For green portable version:

Copy edocsafe.exe to destination folder.

Run edocsafe.exe.

Free Version

You can use it as a Free Version without registration. The free version is fully functional, has no spy-ware, no backdoors, no ad-ware and no expiry date. The only limit is that the max size of each database should not exceed 128M. To get an unlimited version and technical support you need to purchase a registration-code.

Update

Choose Help/Check for updates from main menu, visit our web update page to check out the newest version.

Uninstall

From Programs:

   Select the "Start Menu", point to "Programs -> EZ Document Safe", click "Uninstall EZ Document Safe", and following the wizard instructions.

From Control-Panel:

1. Select Start menu from the Windows task bar.
2. Choose Settings and Control Panel.
3. The Control Panel window opens.
4. Click Add or remove Programs.
5. Choose in the list: EZ Document Safe.
6. Click Remove.
7. Follow uninstall instructions.

    Note

     The uninstaller DO NOT remove your database files.
