  • Wildcard character support: asterisk(*) matches any number of any characters, and question mark(?) matches just one character
  • Common searches use semicolon(;) to matches any of the key word. example: *.doc;bk*.r??
  • Subtraction sign(-) support: subtraction sign means file-name shouldn't be matched, e.g.: *.doc;-test*.doc
  • A plus sign(+) means that each of the key word must be matched. e.g.: +*.doc;+book
  • And you can mix the search signs up to make more complicated searchs, for example: +*.doc;+book;-test
